An important discovery about the text of the Book of Mormon, was made in the South German Mission, by Elder John Welch. Elder Welch, after hearing a lecture on Chiasmus as a semitic literary form that is found in the Bible, discovered as he was studying, that Chiasmus appears in the pages of the Book of Mormon. This discovery has since gained great scholarly acclaim, and lends credence to the authenticity of the origins of the Book of Mormon.
